How did you form this opinion?

What source(s) was critical for you to conclude this?

Why do you think the overwhelming consensus of scientific opinion is wrong?

Thanks.

The link below has some interesting tid-bits. My main problem with the whole thing is that many of the same scientist that are on the current band wagon of human induced global warming are the same group and or organizations that 20 some odd years ago claimed we were entering a global ice age. It almost seems that the same agenda of tree huggers didn't work with that program so they switched up.

1. By examining the facts and the reoccuring cycles that have happened in the past.

2. Check your local library. A great source is back articles of the "global cooling" scare of the 70s and 80s...

3. Scientists have to get funding, and the liberals control that funding via grants. It's much easier to get a government grant or a private grant from an environmental group if you are "studying global warming" and giving the party line for them..

Have you turned in your car turned off your heat? Do not take any medicine as it causes pollution to make. Allow chidren to die because technology may cost animals lives? Have you turned off your electric, stopped using Hair color and nail polish? 1 volcano = all of Human industrialization, there are several eruptions per year. I am not saying burn everything I am saying we are moving towards better methods But the Al Gores of the world want to destroy the West for some BS reasoning. They want to shut us down and make us live in the dark ages in the name of being green Bull! When The Vikings settled Greenland it was just that GREEN and full of forests and animals and able to support many settlers in the years around 800. By 1200 the area was too cold the trees were all gone and it could not support even a small community and they left. Just prior to the American Revolution the colonies had 10-15 years of warm weather that resulted in many harvests during the growing season. After the Declaration 1776 the growing season was so short even 1 harvest was hard to complete Winters became harsh and it was considered "Gods Wrath" on the Americans. With all the changes including the "LAND Bridge" between Asia and America Why are the Global Warming people so Blind? One Volcano produces more soot and smoke than all Humans since the Industrial revolution. .
They found Vikings buried in Old Level of Permafrost and Forest remains miles inland below the current Glacier More facts
1560-1610: Major advances by all glaciers.
1640-1650: Glacier maximum in Switzerland.
1670-1705: Glacier maximum in Austria.
1720-1750: Glacier maximum in Norway.
Another words they have been retreating since 1750

several different reasons.

first and foremost: the planet is ancient. there are dinosaur skeletons around from how long ago? and speaking of dinosaurs, since they went extinct, and since the scientists change their minds every so often about how and why that happened, i have to believe that the scientists don't know as much as they want you to think. then there's the fact that there were ice ages, and warm spells. the planet is OLD. then there's also the fact that 35 years ago, the scientific community was all tore up cause it thought that we were headed to another ice age. they spread panic.

it's arrogant to assume that we could effect such a drastic change in less than a hundred years. in the scheme of things, we're like ants on the surface.

and your question itself is not accurate. you may THINK it's an overwhelming consensus of scientists, but it's not. there's plenty of scientists who debunk humans as being the cause of "climate change." you just don't hear from them as often. go look around and you'll find some. it's not good for business if you notice all the scientists who don't believe that man is the cause of climate changes. the researchers won't get that research money if they admit they haven't a clue what's causing it.

as a matter of fact, i just saw a story about a meteorologist, who said that he doesn't know one meteorologist who believes that global warming is caused by people. he was referring to television weather men, i believe. anyway, this was in a story about a woman from the Weather Channel, who wants weathermen who express any doubt on the issue (that we do cause it) to lose their certification. if i can find this story again, i'll be sure to post a link.

History shows that the Earth has warmed and cool thousands of times before humans ever existed.

History shows that carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere have been higher in the past than they are now.

There is evidence that other planets in the solar system are warming as well (planets with no humans on them).

There is NO evidence that humans are causing the planet to warm.

The flaw of correlation: the banana production in Brazil goes up 50% one year, and in the same year the population growth in Iceland goes up 50%. Just because there is a correlation between 2 things, and the seem like they are related, does not mean that they are.

So you are saying that climate doesn't change unless i drive my SUV more? How many ice ages have there been? how many warming trends? The climate changes you know it. You are so arrogant for believing man can cause the whole planet to change in a positive or negative way. Everything that is here on the Earth has been here. The things that cause environmental damage have always been here. Wildfires used to burn more of the earth before man. Oil slicks occur naturally,Methane gas is naturally released. We are smaller than fleas on a dog. This rock will be here after we are gone.

Just for starters, remember the Alaska land bridge, connecting Siberia with Alaska? Its under water now. So if the ancestors of the Indians migrated here from Mongolia 10,000 years ago, and the seas rose to cover the land bridge, doesn't that tell you that there is something natural about the rise of the oceans?

Or maybe you think that Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble ate too many dinosaur ribs and farted the earth warmer in their foot powered SUVs.
