Inequality based on skin color, or sex, religion or other factors as well, is when one or more people with an identifying characteristic receive less rights, pay or freedoms; or they receive more attention (being followed by a store detective, etc.) than the predominate group.

i think it was because dark skinned ppl were equated with working in the sun which of course translated in ppl who worked hard all day which translated into ppl who worked like slaves...the lighter skinned ppl stayed out of the sun so didn't tan so that meant that they were rich enough not to have to work etc...its a ridiculous notion...now days if you are tanned and physically fit you are better than the pasty, pale ppl who toil away inside all day. but you're right there are many biases based on many different thing...age, weight, color of skin, gender, size, shape, socially acceptable physical traits...

Dont really get your question. Many people are intimidated by those different to them, other just like to beleive what they have is best, especially when they cant change it, this is usually due to jealousy.
Then there are the people who have the sense to see past a persons skin colour, these are the people you want to know.

Why not? people get judged all the time, too short, too thin, bad teeth, dumb. Some people only like dark skin humans.
