i am not american but i constantly see how people despise republicans and i had seen how they are ridiculed by their ideas ..
most of what i have seen portrays them as very dumb people.., i just dont understand , if they are such a political party , something must be positive about them.

If that be the truth, perhaps you might ask a Liberal if they ever had an idea on their own. An idea with-out regurgitating the same bunk of the past 40 years.
President Lincoln (R) freed the slaves. Fast foreward to the 1964 Senate and you will find that the Civil Rights act was passed by Republicans. Democrats voted against the Civil Rights Act!
\We believe in hard work and not sitting on your butt and collecting a welfare check for doing nothing and that frightens a Liberal. A person that can make it on their own and not be beholding to the Liberal party is a death sentence for socialist. It's failed everytime it's been tried.
"I'am not american." Hopefully you would do a little research, before painting a blanket picture on a political party.

We actually do stuff and dont change our mind every month. We are not racist and believe everyone is equal. We value morals over politically correctness. And the economy is doing very good too, so we know how to handle money and fight a war at the same time. And we dont negociate with terrorists, because we know enough of what they stand for. If the Reps were so stupid, we wouldnt have held the Presidency for the past 6 years.

Time change and so do political parties. At one time, the democratic party practically owned the southern states. Also known as the bible belt. The Republicans shrewdly positioned into office an evangelical christian who could speak their language. Their language of intolerance of others (like gay people), vehemently against abortion (yet pro-war and death penalty), and coerced the great unwashed masses who were on the god drug to follow them. So- now owning the religious masses, they proceeded to rape them. Take away their liberties, their social programs, their financial future. Tax breaks to the rich and big oil got easily passed by a republican regime with no checks, and the fool whom they elected reacted poorly with a long series of foreign policy blunders. Despite christianity's teaching of forgiveness, he lead the country on a war of revenge against uninvolved parties which is bankrupting our country and bringing the American dominance in the world to its knees.

Oh. Republicans are (supposedly) for 'supply side economics', fiscal responsibility, less/smaller government, and more liberty.

Unfortunately, being republican probably means you get the white house again. I'm sorry but, Obama and Hilary have no chance at winning the presidential election. They woudln't carry a single state in the South East. I'm just hoping if a republican wins, that it will be McCain from Arizonia. At least that's one moderate republician that is competent.

Republicans are working and trying to make a living (except politicians) They only have time to ridicule at lunch time or after work. Most liberals are living on the govermnet dole, have dead weight government jobs or live on trust funds. They have plenty of free time

Republicans want each person to be responsible for themselves as opposed to government stepping in to help out. Thus building character as it makes each of us responsible for what we make in this world not for being lazy and allowing the federal government all its handout programs.
