When I drive the person in front of me controls my speed. When I ride the train my ability to exit my seat is controlled by the person sitting next to me. The police follow me around harassing me, they control me. The courts take my money, they control me. I am very frustrated. Is anyone else going through this? Do you feel that far too many aspects of your life are out of your control? How do you deal with it?

I sit in the front seat when I drive, you can too! On the train, sit on the isle seat. Don't draw attention to yourself, and the police will leave you alone. SAme thing with court. All the things you mentioned are not controling you. They are freeing up your time and energy so you can have an easier time thinking up ways your actions control others. See? Your question controlled others to answer you. Where do we go now, Leader?

many of the aspects that we go through in life are controlled by another. Many of us are too going through the same things. Yet, the decision to be apart of something is totally controlled by us...Now if there is an monopoly on what ever it is that you need to use and they is no other way to get around it (options) than the way that I'd deal with it, is by going to another place in my head. Examples, music/DVD/writing/reading-in order to pass the time away during to controlling factor that I cannot control.

No. Sounds to me like your going through something that you should be talking to a professional about. Not everyone tries to control you.

welcome to reality....we are all controlled by something no matter what we do. some things are in our control to some degree...our actions for example we can do whatever we want we control that but there are consequences, the same with what we say....we can say whatever we want no matter how hateful or nice but still we have to deal with the results...so really you are in total control of your life its the consequences and results you can't control all the time.

Run naked in the woods if you feel like it. You might want to wear some shoes though.
