I have a friend who is from a non-english speaking country. she now knows how to speak english but because their language (amharic) is written using different characters, she is having a hard time learning roman alphabet characters and how they sound when put together as words. what is the fastest easiest way to learn how to read english for her?

Teaching English is complicated and has to be taught in language chunks She needs to go to a T E F L teacher.I am qualified to teach if she would like to e mail me I would be glad to help her.She will have to start from the Elementary Level ,working with the Alphabet Segregated into Consonants and vowels. This is the only way the different sounds can be structured for her to learn the pronunciation of the language. lindsay.caress@yahoo.com
