I actually will be looking for a basketball game to watch while your president is on television trying to once again get the people to understand why he feels that all of this unnecessary business in Iraq is still going on. To me, every thing that comes out of the man's mouth sounds like the teacher from Charlie Brown-- "womp wa womp womp womp womp"!!

Flagged for failed attempt at humor.

Sadly, anything that Bush does propose will go about as far as the ones you suggest. With every member of the Senate running for President in '08 (or so it seems) there isn't much chance of anything good or bad happening for 2 years.

Strangely, in the presence of government gridlock, the economy will flourish.... and no one will take a hint from that.

I hope to hear Bush say...

I am responsible for the terrorist acts committed by the CIA since 9/11 and all the planning for such attacks handed down to my administration and previous administrations since the murder of JFK in 1963.

I am willing to be judged by an Iraqi court in Baghdad and to die by hanging like my associate Saddam Hussein.

Next... Mr. Cheney has something to say...???
