I believe that your fears change with your EXPERIENCE and not age. Not all who age became knowledgable on everything. Knowledge on a thing feared is the most fine way of overcoming your fear with it. Putting it on a different way, you don't have to age for you to overcome your fear. You just have to face it and experience it. Once you get used to it, your fear will be gone

Absolutely. Fears increase too cos the ppl close to have increased, like children, granchildren. The world really looks a more fearful place now than when I was a kid. The media keeps reporting all these sordid stories from all across the globe.

Fears most definitely change with age, when we're young ,most of our fears are for ourselves, as we age our fears are for others. Our loved ones: children, parents, husbands or wives. Childish fears are replaced by adult fears. Believe me, the dark, & the boogeyman, can't compete. I hope everyone enjoys thier age of :SELF:

When I was younger I was pretty much fearless. I would climb the tallest tree I could find and higher I could get the better. Now...I hate flying with a passion (flying from California to Germany was horrid) and I don't really care for roller coasters anymore..I am just a big sissy now that I am old(er).
