I just bought a Ford Minivan - Sweet van but makes a buzzing sound that sound like it is coming from the steering wheel. One other time I had this problem but it only made this noise when I turned the steering wheel. The noise gets louder when I turn the steering wheel. It sound like the steering wheel unit might be going out. When I drive FAST it does not make the noise at all.

I had the oil changed yesterday & they topped all the fluids. It's not too loud - but louder than I like. When I'm sitting it makes this noise. Just a consistant humming noise. When I get up to 15 mph or higher it goes away.

POWER STEERING FLUID! you need that. or it might be one of your belts. you might wanna get it checked but do the fluid 1st and see if that helps if not then it is def one of ya belts and you need to replace that before it snaps and then you can't turn your steering wheel at all! HURRY!

Have your power steering system checked out. Some systems just make a little noise, in others noise could be a sign of excessive wear.

Have the power steering pump checked. Sounds like it may be failing.
