i don't really know, but there are quite a few movies I have seen over and over and over again, and would watch them again. My husband doesn't watch a movie more than twice, but I have my favorites such as: Pretty Woman, Dying Young, Far and Away, Sparkle, Dirty Dancing, Sweet Home Alabama, Dance With Me, Drumline and Harry Potter (Chamber of Secrets, i just love Dobbie). I love the characters in most of them and the music and dancing in the others. For some reason I never tire of them, they are "feel good" movies.

because there something in that particular movie that makes you wanna watch it over and over again. You can't explain it but it seems that it hipnotizing you. But some of us watch some movies all over again because of the theme, or maybe they like the actors and actresses in that movie.or maybe the theme songs are really good.

just like I have comfort food I have comfort 'movies'- movies that remind me of being a kid, etc. it is connected to a feeling for me and never gets old
