...then the go and put a sleeve over their arm when they play. You would think that guys would wear those stupid sleeves if they didnt have tattoos, but if you spent the time and money and got tattoos, wouldnt you wanna show them?

they dont bother me, im just curious...if i had that many tattoos and they had some meaning to them, then i wouldnt wanna cover them....and the sleeve doesnt help that much..what, is AI gonna score only 5 pts if he doesnt wear it??

Like someone said earlier, the sleeves are worn to help circulation and to keep their shooting arms warm. The tattoos are a personal thing that they probably show off more when they're off-court, but the sleeves are all about business.

I think the tattoos are more of a decoration while their sleeves do something for them when they play.
I don't think they simply wear those sleeves to look cool or anything.
But I do agree in a way... Still, too many people have tattoos on their back and they still wear t-shirts and stuff and cover them...

one story ive heard for iverson wearing a sleeve is that he has a black panther tattoo on his harm so the league required him to cover it. im not sure how true this story is. however, as more players use this sleeve it makes be believe that its used to keep his arm warm as mentioned. as well, sometimes covering your shooting arm protects it from minor injuries. he tends to be attacked extremely because of his offensive threat. not tham im comparing myself to him, but i usually wear an underadmore to play basketball cause people tend to scratch and bruise others while playing.

I have my ex's call on me besides two times. and that i basically look at it because it really is a web page of historic previous in my existence. no longer something on my body (I have over one hundred tattoos) dose no longer represent my own expierences and ideas. If it bothers you that undesirable get yet another tattoo. you may want to get something representing demise or an end to represent the end of the relationship or you may want to easily cover it.

When they are on the court they are not trying to show off their ink, they are playing basketball. The sleeves are supposed to help with joint injuries.

Not necessarily because I have tattoos myself. When I got them I got them for me and only me. So there are times I do decide to show them off but I only do it for me. That's probably the same way they feel.

well i mean when they're playing they probably like to cover their arms or sumthing but i highly doubt that there ganna wear that all day
