The Bible only says that for your own good. God knows what evil and harmful things are out there in this world, like pregnancy, std's, aids, and alot of other bad things. God only put that in the Bible to protect you from the worlds harm. So the benefits of not having pre-marital sex is not being a dirty person who sleeps with everyone, and some of those things I listed above. But it's your choice to not have sex or not.

That's not true that the majority of women that get married are pregnant. I wasn't when I got married. There is no advantage to having pre marital sex. The whole try it before you really commit to it. Because we all find out that when we get married the sex is nothing like it was before marriage.

Yes and no. Most religions say it is a sin to have sex before marriage. But as some of the guys who have already answered said you should do a "test drive" before the big day. Sex is really important in a marriage and if sex sucks then what was the point of getting married in the first place. I think it goes down to each couple. If both of you want to have sex before you get married then go for it. Find out what you are getting. IF you want to show her you're honorable and want to respect her or what ever that BS babble we girls give then thats great too. Don't rush into anything and discuss with your Fiance' Good luck.

No. You are not a car and neither is he/she. You are two unique individuals and are not so easily replaced. You are not a product. You are a person. That having been said, it takes time for two people to get in sync sexually. Learning how to love each other in that way is one of the joys newlyweds are supposed to have. Also, if either of you can't maintain self-control before you're married, what makes you think you or your spouse will be able to maintain self-control when faced with temptation after you are married? Pre-marital sex can and does destroy trust, which no relationship can survive without.

I don't think it's an advantage if she's pregnant at the time of marriage b/c they're probably getting married b/c of the baby. That's wrong. Obviously, no one should want to get pregnant before marriage, but I guess sometimes it happens that way. I personally would be scared b/c I wouldn't know if my man is really marrying me b/c he loves me and not just b/c he's going to be a daddy. I would have a hard time dealing with something like that. It's called birth control! Take it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Immorality has become common place, unfortunately. This reveals a total lack of self-control, self-esteem and self-respect.

I for one as a man, would not marry a woman that wanted to have sex before marriage. But, millions of others do it every day.

Also, consider this. If you do have premarital sex, then there is nothing to look forward to on your wedding night. You both have already ruined that aspect of your marriage.

It just depends on your own standards of conduct, that you choose to live and love by.

There is no advantage in my opinion. Sex is only a part of the bigger picture of the institution of marriage. People should have counseling too before they get married, because from what I see, we have lost the value of being in a committed relationship.

No...in fact I think it is a sign of weakness and lack of restraint on both parties. If people can't wait then to me it means that all their interests are about sex and that isn't the basis for a sound union of matrimony.

I don't agree with you that most women are pregnant when they get married.

My husband and I found pre marital sex to be a disadvantage and rather ruined our "honeymoon"
