I found a sweatshirt in my house as a teen. I wore it for a while, but eventually my mom took it. Years later, I found out it was an ex's, and my mom still wears it.
I found a long sleeve T in the woods on a bike trail, and wore it for years before it fell apart.
In my college years I found a hand knit cap in the freezer of a friend's dorm fridge. I sill have and wear that.
I once lost a very special hat, only to find it months later on a total stranger's head. He gave it back, and it's on the hook next to the door right now.
I have returned wallets, purses, credit cards, and jewlery. I did find a fiver in a shrub once, and I kept that.

20 quid in the back of a taxi, an 18 carat Gold ankle bracelet on the beach, 3 gold rings at various times, and a pair of designer sunglasses valued at 180 quid....
Also found a handbag complete with wallet 200 quid and credit cards, but i gave that back.
But the most valuable is the amount of money I find when I hang my Husbands trousers upside down.... and no I never return that..!!!!

I was in Brighton in the arcades and there were a bunch of yobs playing with the machine that grabs at things like teddy bears, I had my niece with me in the pram and she wanted to watch, they were really loud and loutish, I noticed that one of them had dropped a £20 note so I picked it up and kept it,thinking they didn't deserve it back because they were louts, then one of them turned round with a big smile on his face and gave my niece the teddy he had won! I've never felt disgraced so with myself, I judged a book by the cover it was too late for me to give it back. But I'd never ever do it again!

I found 20 dollars once, I could have given it to the convenience store clerk, or turned it in to police, I am sure either would have pocketed it themselves, so I saved them the trouble.

I found a very nice Adidas running suit (black and white and in my size) in my laundry when I was in college. I figured if someone was stupid enough to be "borrowing" my drying time and money then loosing their clothes was what they deserved. It's one thing to ask and borrow but its another just to take.

A dead tramp under a railway bridge near Bescot Stadium, Walsall, England. Me and my mates stumbled accross him after kicking a ball about on the way back from school. It was Winter around 1995, and we haven't told anyone yet. We prodded him with sticks and my mate Ross dropped a paving slab on him.

Yes absolutely. If i see money lying on the ground i will always pick it up and put it in my pocket. I'd be a fool not to.
