On my experience(after having one female child in chennai) it is critically important to have a planned child after marriage.
It is because we die only once then what is the thing in life which has no chances(no mistakes allowed equalant to death), it is ones sexual life.
Every person is unique in itself, we have to change & take the best out of our life, so if a person is found wrong after marriages ways & means should be routed for better living(second marriage is not the answer)
This requires sex education in teens itself for clear view of right life with learning lessons in other areas of life.
A baby makes a mother & a father a better in their life, so on preparation only ones accepts the changes & becomes a better person

Although it's generally a good idea to be prepared when a child comes into your life, and be sure that you are prepared, physically, psychologically, financially and emotionally for this change, surprise-babies are considered to be the best! Good news are even better if they come as a surprise, and on this principle, you shouldn't have every little detail of your life planned ahead, that would make life so much more boring, wouldn't it?

Sexual education is a good thing, at any age (you'd be surprised, but there are enough mature adults that don't know when or how they can become pregnant or how to avoid it), and it is important for any individual to know all the options, perspectives and choices they have in life, so they can make the full out of it.

Let's just say, it is always better to plan a pregnancy.. so many reasons really.. financially, emotionally, physically.. all these come into play when planning for a child.
I wouldn't want to have a child now at 44 for I am certain it would drive me nutz and I would be old when it gratuated from high school, so there's the emotionally and physically part.. but financially I am in a better place to have one.. that way I could pay someone to take care of it until it turns 20 (lol)
