Satisfaction in the workplace is known as 'job satisfaction'. This may mean that you are satisfied with your placement, positioning in the organization, the work profile entrusted to you, the peer group, your superiors, and with your pay package. Also, you feel like 'staying on' with your job. You keep people happy and people keep you happy. And if you have an idea about the market wage rate you feel satisfied with the package you are getting. Another dimension is the quality of product or service turned out. You get a good feedback from customers and you are satisfied with the fact that you are a part of the 'creation team'.

Absolute satisfaction in workplace is hard to find. Because there's no such thing as a perfect workplace. You may be satisfied in various factors but maybe dissatisfied to some. I have worked from different companies but I think the best factor in considering a job is the employees that you're working with. Non-human factors are easy to change.
