It is strange but kids become fixated on certain things and will repeat them at nauseum. Chances are she has no idea what she ways saying but rather heard it somewhere.

My Step son went thought a phase of singing "I see an old man pee, up a tree". No idea where he got it from but we certainly got some strange looks.

Not strange or creepy. When I rode the school bus as a kid I heard little girls singing tunes from commercials. It really brings to mind to cut down on tv time for children. Or to do what Madonna does and just have them watch childrens tapes like Blue's Clues. So I weren't find that child strange or scary in any way. Just a little clueless about how the world works.

When I was about six, my mom told me to make sure I put toilet paper on the seat in the bus station, because butts from all over the world had been on those seats.

I made up a song about it, and sang it at church.

"Butts of the world unite! Oh yeah! Butts of the world unite!"

Kids don't think about what they're saying. Don't be creeped out. :P

Not always, but more often than none children will mimic adults and TV as well. Yes, my grandsweetie sings spiritual songs along with fun songs learned from age appropriate experiences.

Probably thinking about one of her parents' arguments. Kids just parrot what they hear. Pay it no mind, Hon.
