I have had pelvic ultrasound and CT with no results over several years. Now there is also a small amount of pinkish rectal bleeding. I also had a colonoscopy a year ago that was clean. What can be causing these pains? Am I just supposed to ignore it since the Drs. can't find anything? HELP!!

Get a second opinion with a gastroenterologist. Maybe you will need a gynaecologist too if you're female. Hope you are close to a big city with the availability of doctors. Get your blood work checked too.

I had a problem after abdominal surgery and sometimes muscle strain triggers a problem like this. It radiates from my pelvis up and around my back under my ribs. Doctor said just strain, don't you love it Another doctor said may be scar tissue that flares up. I use anti-inflammatories and take it absolutely easy. NO lifting or straining of any kind, sit in a straight back but comfortable chair and get an ice pack at the drug store, actually two, and when sitting, ice for at least 15-20 minutes every hour to reduce inflammation. It helps. If that doesn't work in a week, go to another doctor because even though scar tissue isn't dangerous generally, it can wrap around organs and create problems. If it's inflammed it may be putting pressure on your bladder or, possibly with just the pain, you are slower to urinate because you are fearful. Only and abdominal MRI or ultrasound can be sure. For example, when trying to heal, don't even lift grocery bags. I felt like everything was literally falling out of me for the first 3-4 days, then just really tight and sensitive, couldn't wear anything with a snug waist.

You definitely not ignore it because its not normal. You need to get a 2nd opinion. There has to be something going on causing you pain.

Good luck!
