Shipping gougers tick me off royally. BUT, you have to take a few things into consideration.
#1 are you going to receive a negative as retaliation even though you (I assume) paid quickly?
#2 Think it through because future sellers will review the feedback you've left and could hold their feedback hostage until you leave a positive. Some ebay sellers are jerks like that.
#3 Again, think it through because maybe the product is great but the shipping is outrageous, shouldn't you really leave a Neutral? Seriously, if you FEEL that mad about it, leave the negative. I am saying just think on it for a little while.
I would even consider not leaving anything and letting it expire. That way if they start bugging you about leaving feedback you can tell them you are sparing them the negative by leaving no feedback. They might think about chilling out on the shipping with future customers then.
$15.00 is STUPID to ship from U.S. to Canada. I don't care what the packaging costs are, nor do I care about their "handling" because that is all dictated by the seller. Just because they choose to use a certain type of packaging that is more expensive doesn't mean the buyer should have to compensate their whims. And the "handling", well as a seller on ebay, I know for a fact that number is pulled straight outta their behinds. What kind of "handling" fees are there really? I am not charging my buyers for the gas in my car! Those kind of trumped up fees are ridiculous. The shipping for that tee shirt should have been in the $7.00 range. I know this. Maybe they like to ship using express or something, but you should have been made aware of that crap to begin with. Who needs a tee shirt so badly it has to be expressed?? Puh-lease. They gouged you on shipping and kept the change as profit. Simple.
Just my opinion here ;)

Not really- The shipping cost should be presentented before purchase. If something is purchased with the total cost known prior to winning an auction, it would not be appropriate to give negative feedback since it was a personal decision to purchase the item. I feel that shipping costs is a huge problem with Ebay, and people overcharge all of the time. The solution is to just boycott sellers that charge outrageous shipping fees.

No, unless they told you shipping would be less or stated a lower shipping price on the auction page for Canada. This is sneaky but alot of auctions now have outrageous shipping fee's and that's why I always check what those fee's are before bidding. If it's not posted then I ask the seller before bidding.
Leaving negative feedback would not be fair to the seller because you never asked what the shipping was going to be. Sorry!

It depends.
What does the item listing say about shipping? If it says specifically that it was $15 for shipping, or if it says that the seller determines the shipping, then it is you own fault for not carefully reading the listing before purchasing. I've been in this situation before. I bought the item too hasty and didn't bother to read the "ITEM COMES AS IS" at the bottom. As a result, the computer arrived at my house dead, and I couldn't do a thing about it.
If you have any dispute with an eBayer at all, it is best to email them first and try to settle it without giving negative feedback. Just remember: If you give him negative, then he will give you negative back!!!

When buying on Ebay always check the shipping and handling charges. When you get a good deal, they are often outrageous. Just give him a neutral. A bad feedback creates lots of problems.

If you are pleased with the item just give them positive or neutral feedback and then in your comment say that the S&H cost was a bit much. It's kind of up to you to understand the costs before placing your bid, so if you leave a negative they may lash out b/c they can respond to your negative feedback and if they haven't given you feedback they can leave you negative feedback as well, that's a good reason to wait until they've left you feedback first before giving them a negative. So, though, that is a ridiculous rate, they probably jacked up their handling fee to make more money, it really is your responsibility to know the rate before agreeing to bid, if it is not specified on the auction page, you should e-mail them to find out before placing your bid, if they don't email you back, move on, you don't want to bid with them anyway.

Even though I don't see that as very overpriced - eBay always has prices similar to this one and many times during inter-country exchanges, eBay makes a benchmark that the person cannot go below when posting shipping&handling prices, it is appropriate if this someone deserves it.

If you're talking about shipping costs I would tell them it is overpriced UNLESS this was stated in the auction description. If it wasn't check through USPS.com and see what a box that would weigh approximately a pound would cost. Then tell them that you check and it shouldn't cost that much. You should always consider that if you leave bad feedback you're probably going to get it also. You just have to figure out if it's worth it to you.

only if they did not disclose that. A lot of ebay sellers will reduce the price of an object to lure you in, but charge more for the shipping. It is an acceptable business tactic.

by technique of all ability go away adverse comments if justified. I see no aspect in leaving effective comments if that is a lie. No comments in any respect is extra effective than a lie. subsequently human beings can see the delivery cost and that's as a lot as them even if to pay it. You exercised your correct no longer to. Others can do an same. the seller isn't conning all of us. Being loopy to cost a lot isn't against the law.
