Well, if you're in the northern hemisphere, cold weather is moving in (a little later than normal here in florida) and they can tell that it's most likely warmer in your house than outside. Being cold-blooded, they would much rather be in your house. During the heat of summer this happens as well for the opposite reasons.
Also, I'm sure you have plants around your house, and insects, so you have three things, shelter, food, and temperature gradient around your house.
This is why you have so many lizards in your house. The only way to get rid of them all, is to get rid of ALL your bugs, or move somewhere that it gets too cold for the lizards.

House lizards seem to be a problem, even i have their trouble i think there are a lot of trees or shrubs around ur place best treat for them is the cockroaches and small moths lizards are timid creatures, they move around mainly during night times to get rid of them get rid of the insects and one thing dont leave ur garbage can open
