Ha Ha - depends on how long you live. If fifty is middle age you have to live to be 100!
But you aren't old until you agree to be or you body or mind just give up.
I know some 40 year olds who are "old" and whine about evrything (headaches, backaches etc). I also know one woman just over 90 who still trips about volunteering at the library and meals for wheels and everything else, she is advanced in years but noe "old" ... perhaps she's still middle aged.

It all depends upon how old you are going to be at the time of your death. You could be 20 and be middle aged if you die at 40. Otherwise I would say somewhere in your 50's is middle and old is in your mid to later 70's

I am 40, I am not middle anything. Old is when you cant work anymore.

I don't know....I just turned 30 today , and I still feel like 22, you are only as old as you feel
