Are there any type of fines that players are assessed for keeping a football after a big play? (i.e. a players first TD, interception, etc.)

there used to be a $500 dollar fine for throwing footballs into the stands but they may hav done away with that as fans like it and players can afford it. Dunno.

I believe that the player has to pay for the football. I think that is 100 bucks or so.

I don't think so
they go through like a hundred footballs in one game or something like that
they might have to pay for it but thats it i think

Nothing that they cant afford to pay.Think of the value in a few years on ebay!
