applied the polish, demonstrating how to brush the surface of the nail properly. Then i stretched my own hand out to her, so she could demonstrate to me what she had learned. We made a perfect picture. Lit by the light from a street lamp, myself and this mysterious woman, polishing each other's nails. And then she was gone.
