I found the translation of enjoy to be: ikalugod.
and the translation of proud to be: lugod na lugod, also "mayabang" and "hambong"..

I wonder what kind of shared root they have?

there is lot of meaning of enjoy in tagalog means "ikalugod, ikatuwa, magtamasa, but the most common one is "magsaya" and proud means depending on the sentence "palalo and magmalaki" this means you are being boastful. This the positive translation of proud "lugod na lugod or kahanga-hanga" means you are proud of something you accomplish.
