I would bring a couple cats in.

It is pretty cold outside right now, do the cats stay in a barn or something?

Do what the woman from Tom & Jerry used to do. Stand on a chair, knock your knees together and shout "TomAAAAAAAAs" at the top of your voice. When your cat arrives (and subsequently fails to catch the mouse) hit him repeated over the head with a broom.

If you dont bother it it wont bother you. If you really are sick of it bring in the cats. But say a prayer for the poor guy.
