I don't really understand about your question, but if you mean : DVD Codec then you can check it in :
- Control Panel
- Sounds and Audio Devices
- select Hardware Tabs
- Select Video Codecs from Device Listbox
- Click Properties
- in Video Codecs Properties, select Properties Tabs
