Basically I want to know if two Nvidia Geforce 7600 GS 512MB DDR3 video cards combined with an Asus P5N-SLI Nvidia Nforce 570 SLI MCP w/ 1066mhz FSB will work better than just one Nvidia Geforce 7950 GT 512MB video card with an Asus P5N-SLI Nvidia Nforce 570 SLI MCP w/ 1066mhz FSB?
Which combination will be most effective for graphics?

For now I'd say the 7950. It's always more flexible to have 1 card running in your system and non-SLi apps get all the power (instead of 1/2 to 3/4 of it).

If you can splash some more, go for a GF 8800GTS instead. It'd smack the other two, and it's fool-proof for the next 2 years.

The 8600GT is a good card on your funds and that i counsel it over the 2600 or 3850 you've appeared at from ATI. in case you do finally end up increasing your funds i'd stronlgy propose the 8800GT from nvidia as a results of the undeniable fact that is between the perfect playing cards for sale and exceeds something the 2600 or 3850 can manage.

I suggest you go for the 7950 GT 512MB.

7600 GS is not a great card.

The 7950 would be faster. Goto www.tomshardware.com for video benchmarks.
