Ever since i started reading the Bible especially Jesus's words in Red I have experienced burning sensations on my skin and sort of noises in my ears from time to time once i hear a voice say I hate the Holy Spirit. Am i the only one in the world who experiences this?

I believe fully in spiritual warfare, Can satan make you skin turn red? Well stress from being battled in your mind can and the mind his the enemies playground. If you sit and ponder on a thought you can make it a reality and that is what the enemy is trying to do by making the thought of you hating the holy spirit come in your mind. If you sit and think and think about that eventually it could discourage you to sin and then with sin comes guilt with guilt comes giving up and if you give up you slowly backslide if you backslide then he has won. My grandma always said if the devil is fighting you Thank God even more cause it means you are doing something right cause why would satan waste time on someone he has already got.
Lord I claim with power and authority that you send your spirit of strenght to this brother or sister to resist warfare of his mind let him rebuke the thought in your name Jesus, let him start to sing praise and become surrounded in your presence because Satan can not stand to be in your presence.

I've never had the exprience of burning sensation on my skin, or hearing noises when reading my Bible, but there have been times when I've been reading my Bible when Satan tries to distract me, because he doesn't want us reading the truth in the Bible, and will do anything he can to try and get our attention off of it and onto something else.
Like someone else said, in a firm voice tell the Devil that you rebuke him in the name of Jesus Christ and tell him to leave you alone.
I have done that alot when he tempts me with with sexual thoughts of women other than my wife.
So Spirtual warfare is VERY real.

Ok, I never had the burning sensations/noises, but I also do have spiritual warfare going on in my mind. Something says to me that God doesn't exist and if He does, I'm going to hell anyway. It's real. I don't let it get to me, I just pray that it goes away and do my best to live as a Christian, as I DO believe in God and Jesus is my savior.
We sound crazy, huh???

Yes, spiritual warefare is very real. I have not had burning sensations, but have had some very unsettling experiences. It helps to quote scripture - one I like is, "God did give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind." Keep reading your Bible and don't let Satan discourage you.

This is definitly Spiritual warfare.. We as Christians go through this that is why we need to put the armor on every day to help protect us from the enemy and him trying to destroy us.. No you definitley are not the only one who has these kind of experiences, As Christians we are all persecuted and Satan is out to get us and to try to have us fall away.

no your sane. we are told, that we are in the midst of a spiritual battle. granted we cannot visually see what going on, but I guess we can feal the invisable affect of good and evel clash.
One would think, if we were able to actually see what we are dodging, maybe we would pay more attention to what the bible is truing to say, instead of doing our thing.

NO its the devil or his demons trying to distract you from learning about God's Word.... so when ever that happens..... Speak these words very FIRMLY..... "DEVIL I BIND YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS. I AM GODS CHILD. THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT THAT, SO LEAVE IN THE NAME OF JESUS!!!!!..... Then start speaking in tongues..... speak LOUDLY

Please, please take this question to religion, where all the god freaks hide out. I'm getting burning sensations right now just listening to this crap. You may need to see a doctor, a psychologist if you're serious though. You may be developing schizophrenia if you're hearing voices.

I doubt it...remember satan never bother those who are not a threat to him, but once you believe in god he will try every thing to turn you away from him.
