Well, first of all, check to see if the battery is still good. Take a 12v light bulb and some wire and attach it to the battery terminals. If it comes on, its good, if not, you might have a short that killed the battery. I had it happen to me with my mercedes, turned out the alternator was shorted and drained the battery. After that, check connections. Connections good ---> bad ignition switch.

I would test the battery, try to wiggle the wires, you may need to tighten them, if that isn't the problem then it is your starter. Try to tighten, this is usually the culprit, also is there any build up around the battery, if so clean that off. it will cause the same problem goodluck

after checking the connections for proper installation, check the maxi-fuse under the hood. it may have gotten blown. if that dont do it, take the battery to your local auto parts store and have them check it. it could be a bad battery and not holding a charge.

first of all take the battery terminals off and clean them by taking sandpaper till they are shiny then reconnect them. if that dosen't help take the battery to a servicestation and get it tested. even new batteries fail. if it works after cleaning the terminals, coat them with grease lightly to keep them clean
