absolutely ,there would be a huge difference if the U.S> is not a dominate power militarily speaking,we might even be teaching Arabic as a third language in our school system.

its amazing how the people who immigrate to the U.S. have it compared to a U.S. citizen has it if he/she decides to move abroad.
first off and foremost is the ability to find work ,here in America an immigrant can get a job easily and if they can't then they can get welfare.

if you go to the same immigrant's country as an immigrant and can not speak the language you will probably starve and be homeless if your not independently wealthy.

god bless America and all those tax payers for providing a better life for immigrants over a better life for the homeless.

Military superiority is only necessary to project political power. Without it our involvement in the Middle East and other parts of the world would be severely impacted.

A strong defensive force would suffice to keep us safe at home. As long as we have the mililitary capacity to defend our nation superiority is not required. Britain has practiced this system quite successfully for over a century. Naval power, of course would be a big part of this.

Think of the way the Miltary was stripped in prior to BOTH World wars. In WW1 we nearly lost the abilty to save our allies, We were a joke. In WW2 we nearly lost our ability to defend our very shores. The Soviets would have loved a pacifist weak USA . Today the Mullahs would already be planning the mass beheadings and conversions of the masses. In God we trust and He said CYA build some arms!!!! (PS I pray to Odin and Thor)

Military Superiority is very important. It's called security... if you don't have in that weakness will be exploited... nothing ensures peace like the ability to destroy those that would make war.
