Kids cry on planes, their ears hurt...

People are stupid. I would have raised holy hell if they pulled that **** with me.

Could that be on the basis of the child's safety? May be they thought something was wrong with the child.....

If I was the parent I would be fuming unless they have a good explanation like the safety of my child and if i were a passanger then i would be laughing. Travel ling is stressful enough as it is so who needs a crying baby on board. Especially if the reason for crying seemed unreasonable.

OMG, what is this world coming to! My child cried when she went on plane for first time when she was 2, people were tutting and moaning, i had to stop my self from killing them. Childrens ears hurt on planes and they cant do anything about it, why should people with kids not be able to travel just incase they cry, what a total load of BS! If i were that parent i would sue the **** of that company!
Its ok, i have vented now! LOL

I don't recall hearing that story, but if it happened it was wrong, most children cry on planes because their ears hurt when they are ascending or descending. My sister when she as a baby cried the whole trip, good thing it was only 45 minutes.

I am sympathetic to the parents and the poor child. Kids will cry, especially if they do not feel well. It's not fair at all and I hope they get all their money's worth back.

I havent heard about that but I think it depends on the age of the kid. If they were under 2 I dont think its fair because thats a baby and sometimes you cant get a baby tostop crying. anything older than that, they should be able to calm down and stop crying so yah

As much as I hate it when children cry, I still believe that this was unfair. Sometimes it is just impossible to make the crying stop. They are just children for crying out loud.

I think they should have gotten their money back from the airline. Sometimes we can't get our children to stop crying and as annoying as it might be sooner or later the child would wear himself out and fall asleep.

No, it wasn't fair. I'm sure they needed to get to their destination as much as everybody else. And it's not their fault that the air pressure hurts the kids' ears.

If this really happened, then no, it was not fair and the parents should sue the airlines.
