after moving from PA to NJ i noticed on my pay check that the PA state tax were still being taken out, as well as the NJ taxes. what form. after my HR finally for a chance to call them they changed it to NJ only, but what about that Money that they owe me from PA? What form will I need? I also moved to SC, and the same thing happened there.

Agree with Judy with one caveat. As long as the payroll system was deducting PA income taxes, it was considering the income as earned in PA. Accordingly your PA W-2 will show that as PA income. To not pay PA because the income was earned while in NJ, you will have to either get the W-2 changed or deduct on your PA return the income you feel was over reported as PA income.

Once corrected you will get the over withheld amount as part of a PA refund.

You'll file a part-year resident form for PA state taxes, showing just what you made before you moved. If you overpaid, you'll get a refund.
