And what is wrong with smoking pot and whoring? Actually, it is a mistake to describe George Bush as a 'recovered alcoholic' this urban legend was started by people that realized that there are a bunch on inept 12 steppers that think if someone is in a 12 step program some how have some kind of 'highly evolved spirituality'. In other words, it was just another way to get another significant cluster of people to vote for him, kind of like the rumor that GW was a pentecostal. That is a large cluster of people also.

Actually an honest answer would be... of course he is, wouldn't you drink if you were in his position? Okay obviously the answer isn't that you would do things differently... duhhh... but if you had gone about doing the things he has done? Definaly drive anyone to drinking. Of course he could have been drinking this whole time...

No, but I think ted kennedy has.
He has all the characteristics of a seasoned alcoholic, including the red nose, and has over the years lost his mind (which was never a brilliant one to start with)
