Does the league need to stepp in and help with this problem because obviously the players aren't getting the message form the coach and the team? Other teams don't seem to have these kind of crime issues.

Why are the Bengal players having such a hard time staying out of trouble? Bad character? Thugs? Lack of discipline? Total disregard for the impact of their actions on the whole organization and even league?

MINORITY HEAD COACH, DO THE MATH

I think you have to look at other factors before the blame is put on the league or a team. You have these young guys that are coming from different backgrounds; poor, no guidance, broken families and the list can go on and on. But sports is a way out of these situation and these young athlete are willing to do whatever it takes to make it.

One problem. Most of them do not get the proper guidance along the way. And the ones that should be guiding them, turn a shoulder as long as the kid is producing results on the field. Now you take this young 19-22 year old man and give him a $74 million dollar contract with a $5 million dollar signing bonus. And sign him up for $10-15 million more in endorsements. They don't know how to act.

Read Jim Brown's article about the NFL. It's not a problem with the Bengals, it's a problem with society and the league.

Profiling black men what a joke. The woman driving the vehicle was going too slow and weaving all over the road. Really tough decision for a police officer as far as should they pull the vehicle over.
I live in the Chocolate City (i.e., New Orleans) and there have been several discussions about profiling but what the media or some study will not address is that as compared to whites a greater percentage of blacks are just bad characters. However, you cannot say that today because you would be a racist. It's like the black community thinks the 'bell curve' should apply to everything including the number of arrests when it comes to black/white comparisons. Now how stupid is that especially when you consider New Orleans criminals are some of the best in the U.S. at their trade. Just ask Houston. Sounds as if Cincinnati as a similar problem and the brothers just blend in.

Well although the bengals seem to have the most arrests, its not a problem that is completely isolated to the bengals. You hear more about this as the years go by with other teams as well. At the Rookie orientation in the NFL they cover all of this and provide resources for the players to access, but they still do it.

There is a strong class of OL and DL men coming this year.......we can be pretty sure that the first 3 (in no particular order) will be Dorsey, McFadden, and Jake Long. I believe that the Bengals will Target either Chris Long, or Sedrick Ellis, whichever is left on the board when the pick comes.

I think that the Bengals have been influenced too long by Chad Johnson. He teaches them that since they make millions, it's ok to waste a few thousand here and there with stunts like a name change on a jersey and selling drugs and that kind of thing. Not that Johnson is not a great player, because I actually like him, I just think he, as a team leader, does not provide the best example for teammates and kids to follow.

Some teams have a hard time handling prosperity. It seems like they were on the verge of being great and they have had problems ever since. When a team is close, it is harder to discipline players.

I think its the surrounding environment, as Cincinnati is a high crime city and the authorities will pull you over for no reason, so many of them who are getting in trouble, need to wisen up. These guys are making millions and it is so stupid to put yourself in these situations and be a disgrace to the team and most imoprtantly YOURSELF.

They are thugs with size and speed so the NFL rewards them with millions. Take them out of the game then they will sell coke and kill each other like that running back from Ohio State Maurice Claret ( or however you spell it).

I don't know WHERE the players have been getting arrested, but Cincinnati cops are pretty well known for profiling black men.
