Costs too much, isn't as slick as Linux. Hm. Think I'll stick with Linux.
p.s. Not all drugs are killers.

So far, it has not convinced me to switch back to Windows - even though I prefer the task bar concept over the Mac OS X dock. I think that Windows vista lacks an aerodynamic feel to it.
I think, though in fairness Windows vista ends up having to be the jack of all trades. There are probably billions of different hardware configurations for Windows to cope with, as opposed to the fairly uniform Mac platform.

I try Vista Release Candidate 1 :
Desktop - good
Gadget - good
ScreenSaver - cool
Windows Forms (Aero) - Cool
Media Player 11 - cool but to much bug (especially for playing DVD)
Search/Find Files - you can wait forever.........
Security - To much ask for permission
Compatibility with other programs - Buggy.. without reason
Dual Booting with another OS (especially linux) - I can't find the way to do it.
Games (solitaire.. chess.. etc) - cool
IE 7 - cool
Performance - sucks...
my computer spesification :
AMD 3500+, 1 gb Memory, 250 gb SATA, ATI X700

Mega crap coz you need a really decent graphics card just to run the damn Operating System. plus its so damn buggy programmers won't be writing decent software for it for some time.
i say just leave it for now. get it in 5-6 months time once dear old bill gates has got it right...remember how crap xp was to start with? it's quite stable now though...
vista will be the same...its just prettier than xp, thats all..another excuse from microsoft to make us pay them more money
