I'm not totally sure but the trailer I saw which was on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD4OnHCRd_4 looked like a real trailer and not a fake one..

The story follows the same explorers as we first see in the first movie (or at least they look like them from the trailer) they find Jack in a frozen ice cube.. they take him out and unfreeze him.. he is alive then and gets out of whatever place he is in.. he then starts searching for rose, who everyone keeps telling him is dead...

that is what I got from the trailer I didnt watch the end of the trailer as I had school to finish, but I hope that helps :)

Sequel To Titanic

I don't think there's a sequel. I think the only way they could do a sequel is to depicte Rose's life after she arrived in the U.S. Do you remember all of the photographs she had by her bed? They were of her at Coney Island, riding horses, climbing into an open cockpit airplane among others. It could be of her adventures after Titanic.

There is a documentary called Ghosts of the Abyss that explores the Titanic, it's in 3D and it's directed by James Cameron, the same guy who directed Titanic. That's as close as there is to a sequel.

yes it was Ghosts of the Abyss.

Plot Summary for
Ghosts of the Abyss (2003)
Academy Award® winning director and master storyteller James Cameron journeys back to the site of his greatest inspiration # the legendary wreck of the Titanic. Using state-of-the-art technology developed expressly for this expedition, Cameron and his crew are able to explore virtually all of the wreckage, inside and out, as never before. With the most advanced 3D photography, moviegoers will experience the ship as if they are part of the crew, right inside the dive subs. In this unprecedented motion picture event, made especially for IMAX 3D Theatres and specially outfitted 35mm 3D theaters across the country, Cameron and his team bring audiences to sights not seen since the sinking 90 years ago and explore why the landmark vessel # more than any shipwreck # continues to intrigue and fascinate the public.

I have seen the same trailer in theatre in 2008 or 2009 , so the trailer is not fake. The movies was suppose to be released in june 2009.
Movie got scraped due to death of Millvina Dean as well as it's poor plot.

So guys no any sequel

Not that I've heard. there'd be a better chance of there being a sequel to the passion of the Christ.
Passion of the Christ; Resurrection.
