my acoustic gutiar becomes out of tune when i fret notes..but when i check the tune,it is in tune when it's an open string...whats the problem?because of this,my solos become out of tune...

is it also because of my strings?...i haven't change it for about 2 months now...i just bought this guitar 3 months ago..i think it has nothing to do with the fret board...and i haven't had this problem before...just started having this problem a couple of days ago..

It could be the strings, VERY unlikely the fret layout or bridge position unless it is a cheap guitar.

Sounds like you are pulling the guitar out of tune when fretting... this sounds like the action is high and this could be from many sources. Have it checked out at a shop.

It for sure intonation. Has to do with string length. IF you have an electronic tuner try playing any string,let's say the "A" open. Tune to with the tuner. Then play the same string at the 12th fret. The tuner should show it is still in tune. I'll bet it's not. That's the problem. Take to a good shop and have the neck straightness checked. It should be fixable.

The intonation is out of whack. This can be caused by several things; the most likely is that your neck is warped or twisted, or that the bridge is somehow out of adjustment. Have a reputable tech check it out for you.

maybe the pegs are losse go on 8 notes.com and there is a tuner
