Ah, the joys of a 1 month old. I have a 4 month old and so it was not very long ago that I had the same situation. There little stomachs are so new and everything seems to bug it. You did not mention if she is a breastfed or formula fed baby so I can give you both advice. If she is breastfed, watch your intake of dairy and wheat. This seems to irritate the baby sometimes. Formula that is milk based can do the same thing. Acid reflux is not uncommon. This can be helped by gas drops but also keeping baby as upright as possible after feeding helps too.

The only thing you can give a 1 month old baby should be breast milk, and or formula and a spoon or two of cooled boiled water. Is she drawing her legs up to her chest? If she is then this could be colic. Sit the baby up supporting her back so it is as straight as possible. It can take 20 minutes for them to burp so you need to be patient. Sometimes a sip or two of cooled boiled water can also help the process along.
Tummy aches are unfortunately quite common in tiny ones but if she develops a temperature or you feel something is wrong don't hesitate to seek a medical opinion.

You can't really give her anything that young but her are somethings that you can do. First off she maybe having gas and to help her with that you can take her legs and push them gently up to her chest and back down about 5 times and do that maybe every half an hour till she seems like she is happy again. Another thing is if you lay her on your chest or stomach your body heat can make her belly feel better. Also you can go to webmd.com or americanbaby.com and they probably have some suggestions that could also help you!
Good luck!

Could be gas, at which point you could try either tummy massage, tummy time, or laying baby on her back and gently cycling her legs.

Definitely talk to her pediatrician, they should be able to discern whether to give Ovol drops, change formula, or if it's something more complicated than any of this.

I know it sounds simplistic...but have you checked how you're doing up her diaper? Our first son used to get worked up if his diaper was a little too tight, or if the waistband on the pants that we had on him was too tight (even a little).

When our little guy was colicky my husband used to lay him on his forarm and gently bounce him, the pressure of my husband's forearm on our little guy's tummy seemed soothing because it was firm but consistant pressure (no pressure points like with hands)

Give her a little warm water , and put her on her stomach and gently massage her back. Use a little baby oil to make this easier.
The problem is probably caused through wind, and massage will not only help the problem but relax her. I agree dont give her anything other than water and if problem persists for a long period of time, then see your doctor.

talk to your doctor. You never want to give a baby anything without doctors advice. You may need to do something as simple as burping more often or change the formula you are using. Call your doctor ASAP before you decide to do anything!!

it is not to be used really till the baby is 3 month old but your doc will advise infocol! thats what i was advised but only to give 2.5ml instead of the recommended 5ml for 3 month old. or even peppermint does the trick!
good luck x

she could be lactose intolerant...allergic to milk, or you might not be burping her enough. sit her on your knee and very gently bounce your knee and pat her on the back, or put her over your shoulder up sort of high, rock her and pat the back. if baby doesn't burp very much after feeding better keep trying cuz it means tummy ache later if they dont burp really well. good luck

My wife swears by peppermint water. She'll drop a peppermint hard candy into a baby bottle, shake it up real well, and have the baby drink it. Seems to work.

A belly massage:
Sun and moon: a full circle with one hand (ALWAYS clockwise), an upper half circle with the other hand
I Love You: "I" on her left side, up to down; then an upside-down "L" starting on the upper right side of her belly; then an upside-down "U" starting on the bottom right side

Or just put your warm hand on her belly it will help her...
