Automobile I have to say be default. I've never been on any of the others. Besides, I'm a driver at heart, so I would love to take a long road trip. I think the New England area would be cool, or even the nations capitol. ;)

The Automobile, there is nothing like the liberty of being able to drive wherever you want, take your time to get to your destination and perhaps along the was see some great sights. Whenever we go we take side trips to hike an area that may be of historical significance, or offer a spectacular view. A place were pioneers first trod their feet over the Appalachians to head west, where soldiers lost there lives on battlefields. We have stopped to see monuments to great leaders and Presidents and perhaps the most stirring, heart-wrenching monument of all is that of the Vietnam War Memorial.
We have moved on past miles of farmers fields, Amish farms, Small streams and Giant rivers, we have seen much natural beauty that this country has had to offer on the back roads and hiking the trails off them.
Then that same car has taken us to The Magic Home of the giant rat, the land of alligators, the everglades, sunshine in winter. Yes, a few family fights but most of all home.
We have traveled by plane and train but we love our car/truck trips the most; off the beaten path. Exploring as much as America before the kids are all off to college.
