No ... just go to wikipedia.com and look up Apollo. Just use simple reasoning. Would any nation spend 28 BILLION dollars, 14 years and hire 250,000 people to make a movie and then expect every one of those quarter of a million people to keep the secret ?? Be real.

Although my wife's father performed fuel calculations for the original Apollo landing, I'll spare you that speech. Instead, I will encourage you to watch two programs. The first show is called Conspiracy Moon Landing that it currently showing on the National Geographic Channel and it pretty much obliterates all of the popular conspiracy theories.
I would also encourage you to watch a movie called Capricorn One. Made it 1978, it is a fictional story about a fake mission to Mars. Although it is a science fiction story, it is a good example of how utterly impossible it would be to fake a moon landing for any length of time.
12 men walked on the moon from 1969 to 1972 and we have neither the resources nor the technology to pull off that big of a hoax for so long. Hundreds of thousands of people have worked on the space program. It would be far easier to put someone on the moon than to try and fake it and keep it secret for nearly 40 years.
The landings came at a time when our space program was ultra competitive with the former Soviet Union. Remember how big of a deal it was when Sputnik was put into orbit? They had the technology to monitor our moon shots and transmissions. Don't you think they would have called us out if they had evidence that it was all fake?
Perhaps the most definitive proof of our trip to the moon is what we left behind. For the last 35+ years, scientists have been beaming lasers to the moon and measuring the return times. How are they doing this? The beams are reflected back by equipment left on the moon on at 3 different locations.
Case closed.

I realize that these days it is fashionable to not believe in anything, but really why would you doubt the moon landings? If you are American: have some pride in what your nation has accomplished for goodness sake. Its the most daring and impressive accomplishment of the human race to date. And you want to sully that by thinking it's FAKE?!?
If you don't believe it was real from the mountains of indisputable proof that is out there just by looking, then let me ask you this: At the time of the moon landing, the US was in a heated ideological and technological war with the Soviet Union. It was a race to the moon that both were pursuing with extreme intensity. Hundreds of Soviet space workers died trying to get their rocket ready. The belief was that the world would look up to whichever country won that race and would be more likely to adopt their way of life (democracy or communism). Now don't you think the Soviets would have pointed it out to the world in 1969 if their greatest defeat had been FAKED? And they were in a position to track the mission, to receive the radio transmissions, and to know there were not coming from a studio in Arizona! Instead the Soviet premier sent official CONGRATULATIONS to the President upon the successful first landing. WHY would they do that if it was fake?

Many people say this. But all forget one fact that moon landing was a race between Rusia and US, so if US had faked it, Russia with all it's spying machinery and so many other things kept to watch each other, would have known about it and they wouldn't have missed this oppurtunity to cut the US's nose. So, it wasn;t a 'paper moon' as some idiots say.

No, the landing was not fake! If it was, the world would have known because someone would have said anything. The government would not have spent so much money for something that was faked. Three people were killed, Apollo 13 was almost lost, and a lot was on the line for these moon landings.

yes...i believe that it is true....
*the only light source for moon is sun...but in the pics, taken ,they look as if there are multiple light sources...
*n also the foreground of pics. of astranauts in moon r filled with light while the shadows remain black again indicatin that there r multiple light sources..
*there are no stars in the background in the pics. taken from moon...
*in the pics. the flags r wavin which is impossible in airless moon...
*ther is no dust on LM foot pads...
*the footprints left by the astranauts should not be there because since water as a bonding agent is absent.the coherent shapes could not be maintained...
*the LM engine being so powerful didnt leave any crater on the surface..
*there cant be any pics. taken from moon because the film would melt at 250 degree temp.
n there r lots more which r very technical...n now its ur turn to think of n find out the truth....good luck

Go up to Buzz Aldrin (on the first moon landing), and ask him if it was faked.
He punched a guy that asked if he lied about being on the moon. I think that is evidence enough.

I don't know if they faked it or not,but I've always wondered aboutit.Like if we landed on the moon and it was such a big deal, then why have we never been back. It'salmost like something scared the hell out of us or we never went in the first place.
