Doesn't matter to me if you are Korean - I don't look at people that way. So, go ahead and tell me about Korea - I'll listen and am interested.

Personally, I love Korea, as long as I'm safely south of the DMZ. I study Kuk Sool Won here in Houston, Texas. I don't know a lot about it but I've seen pictures and a friend of mine went to the international Kuk Sool tournament there a year or two ago.

Welcome. Good for you! The United States is called a "melting pot" because many different cultures live here and influence each other.
My son studies Korean Martial Arts and he is of mixed nationality. His grandmother is Asian...from Taiwan. Her family has lived on Taiwan for many generations. They moved long ago from China to escape prejudice because their family was of Main Land Chinese and Mongolian mixed ancestry. When I met her, I was surprised to learn of the prejudice that exists in Asian countries against other Asians. She always made it a point to be open with other cultures because of her own family's experience. She said it taught her to be more tolerant and accepting of people and their differences. She was a great influence in my life. I will always appreciate her.
Best wishes to you!

Unfortunately true Friends are hard to come by.
You can have all the acquaintances you want, but true friends takes time to earn and keep.
