I am fairly new to Yahoo Answers, and a few of the answers I have gotten to my questions have been pretty shallow and I would say childish. I am just curious who i am asking question to ?
Are most people who answer questions interested mainly in getting points like it is a game or is their serious intellectual discussion on here?

Well,there is a wide variety of people here.Some are very young and give annoying answers(kids) and others are mature adults.For instance,I'm 22 and I'm always interested in finding out new ideas,new point of views concerning life.

I am the wrong side of 35 and unless I can answer sensibly I dont bother. but I know what you mean one or two answers to me have been quite rude and there is no need for it.

i am 16, my mums bf uses it as well and he is 39 and my mum does as well and she is 38
