Why look into the mirror..... just open the eyes... whatever we see is a miracle of a kind... this entire universe is a miracle... every little change that happens in every plant or its leaves or flowers... as I said, the whole nature in front of our eyes is nothing short of a huge miracle!!!
We still want new miracles... the ones that we have never seen before.... I believe that we get tired by the unchangeable law of cause and effect and that is why we keep looking for miracles... assuming they do not follow this universal rule of cause and effect.... and we also do not want to remind us that even miracles that we believe in are by no means beyond the law of cause and effect... it is just that we have not ascertained the causes!!

We don't even need a mirror. We just simply need to close our eyes, be quiet for a few moments each day and look within. That's where miracles are waiting. Miracles hav e nothing to do with the physical parts of us, but the spiritual part of us.

Because people are shallow, and instead of seeing the miracle of the human body, they see, hey I'm rich and gorgous, or I'm so freaking ugly.
People don't want to see themselves, they want to see their body when they look in a mirror.
When people are allowed to be given a luxery for too long, they become familiarized with it, and view it as a right, and once something is a right, it is no longer a gift or a miracle.
When people are familirized with their body they will seek more answers, and begin to look for miracles.
Philosophers are different, they look in the mirror and ask, "Is that me?" and then go outside to look at nature and think about the big picture.

I couldn't agree more. The miracle of the symmetry of the human face and body is incredible. Sadly, however, we are so wrapped up in the media today...telling us that we are not good looking enough, not thin enough, not rich enough...our perception of ourselves is messed up!
Spending more time in nature is also an eye-opener...if people recognize the beauty and wonder.
Have a lovely day...

a logical person will look in the mirror and see the wonder of DNA and the marvel of millions of years of evolution to develop and create the human face.... perhaps they will consider the link we all share with our ancestral cousins, the great apes.... perhaps they will think of the innate stupidity of classifying people according to the colour of their skin, or facial features.
a religious person looks in the mirror and says "goddidit" and everything else whooshes over their head.
