one of Dr Who's old assistants,my kids loved it does anyone know if it will be made into a series or is it runnunig now and we've missed it.

It was advertised as a new kids programme set now in 21 century so it's not the one with K9 in it ,Maybe it was just a one of.

It's called The Sarah Jane Adventures, and the episode on New Years Day was a taster for a new series that will be shown later in the year.
I'm really looking forward to it.

No it's new, and K9 doesn't play much of a part, but what you saw was the Pilot Episode, and it depended on feedback from that, if the series was to be made. It looks like it will, and depending on the special effect content, and there was quite a bit in that pilot, it could start in Summer, along with Doctor Who, or it may turn up in the Aurtumn.

I recall a short-lived series with Sarah Jane and K-9; a spin-off from Dr Who. Is that the one you mean?

It's not a 1-off.the new series is set to appear in the spring when Doctor who series #3 comes out.

i dont know if you have been on the web site its www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho if you type in sara jane in the search box it brings up some chioces the second one down her home page with games to play and info on it!!
