Mr Bush has done nothing but proctect the American people from the danger of terrorists (canadians), not a single terrrorist attack has taken place on American soil yet he still receives flack for doing a great job. He has also set the standard higher for education in America, He is one of the best presidents ever- if it waslegally possible- we should vote him in for another term if not too!

I feel sorry for the people who typed "where were you on 9/11?" Clearly they didn't have the foresight to know you meant "SINCE" 9/11. But lets assume they mean to blame Bush for what happened.....seeing he was inagurated in Jan, that gave him 9 months as opposed to 8 years (Clinton) prep time to get a grasp on the terrorist threat looming over the USA. At least he did something over there!

Also, having said that, unfortunately I don't think he is the best president ever...that title can only go to either Lincoln or FDR. However, history is on their side. I hope and pray things turn out well for Bush in the history books...you never know.

I don't know if he is the best ever. That is a stretch but he is pretty good. The stock markets are doing very well (even better than when he took office) despite 2 wars, terrorist attacks on US soil, a massive hurricane, and the lose of crops due to extreme cold weather. As you have said there have been no more terrorist attacks on our soil after 9/11. He is doing something right.

I agree completely. Not only is he a great protector, a noble philanthropist, an intelligent, articulate, genuine and caring man, but boy is he a handsome devil, too! Perfect!

Oh, I'm sorry, I assumed you had to be being sarcastic. Oh my God, people aren't being sarcastic!!!? What is WRONG with you all? Don't you know that the rest of the world views GW as the greatest threat to humanity above ANY other ruthless war leader? If there is a history for him to go down in, he's going down as at best, a stupid puppet, and at worst, a fear-instilling, hate mongering war criminal! I feel sorry for all you ignorant people. Read the guy's comment below me. You only have time for thinking about your own narrow lives and not the effect your country and it's imbecile of a president has on the deprived of your own country, not to mention the rest of the world.

Deranged certainly is.... I am sure you meant since 9/11.. Abe Lincoln was the Most hated president by this time in his term. The North wanted to have a peace treaty as did the south. He just said NO. Real leaders make unpopular choices they are not American idol contestants. Perhaps some day we will think of GW in the same context as Abe..... We are at war, never a popular place to be......

We have two years yet. In the long lens of history, only the lunatic fringe will continue to call him the worst. In keeping this country safe after 9/11, he is closer to the best than the worst, taking his place after Reagan, Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington, and Teddy Roosevelt.

Not a single terrrorist attack has taken place on American
soil? Did you forget about 911? He continues to send troops to Iraq to die in a War like Vietnam that we will never win. I personally am a victim of Hurricane Katrina
& lost everything I owned along with thousands of other people. Bush keeps spending Billions of dollars on the war in Iraq, while the people here in Louisiana, & Mississippi get very little help.I'd never Vote for him again

I agree. He is a man of principles. He stands by them regardless of which way the political winds blow. This is what a true leader is made of. Ironically these traits used to be applauded and gave credibility and integrity to people. I teach my children that these are admirable traits and they should aspire to become as he is.

Unfortunately the far lefts thirst for power knows little bounds and will stop at nothing to get it. Even if it means our soldiers facing an even greater threat of a nuclear proliferated Iran.

As far as the Canadians go, If you can't depend on your best friends how can you rely on the rest of the world to back you.

They opposed the invasion but I do appreciate their minor part in the current conflict.

No, Ronald Reagan was the best ever ... but George W. Bush is a GREAT President and has done an incredible job of protecting our country since 9.11

He has also faced many more difficult issues than any President in our lifetime.

Oh you are so right, he has kept those Canadian terrorists at bay. They are such a threat, hey. Yes, he has set the standard for education in America. Using himself as the standard, he has redefined fluid and crystilized intelligence.

GW Bush the best president ever!!!!!!! That's a good one!

Well I can't say best ever....

I was very partial to Jefferson Davis... I thought he made a very Good American President...

Chester A. Garfield also rocked...

and Let us not for get about the Great William Howard Taft, who had to have a new bath tub installed in the White House because he got stuck in the old one.
