I think they are good. These book are meant to entertain us. They are not trying to get people to believe in witch and things like that. They help kids use their brains and imaginations and I am not going to stop a child from reading. To sum it up I think these book are good for the mind for children but I also feel that parents need to know what their kids are reading.

its not evil,,there are some good values that can be learned from the story-- I've read all the books that j.k Rowling has written and still waiting for the next volume--,, it's just that the characters or lets just say "creatures" are there,,, this characters were taken from the mythology,,, if you're talking about the violence that's just natural since j.k Rowling has a wild imagination. there are more books that are evil than harry potter

I don't think works of fiction can be good or evil. They are just books that some lady wrote. As far as tone or content, I've heard that the Potter books are dark at times, but overall have good morale value.

Well honestly i think that they are evil. The contain so much witchcraft and evil things. Even though they are said to be childrens books, they are harmful for anyones mind. The put evil thoughts and sins in readers heads. I wouldn't read them.
