Clubs often offer the chance for kids to meet their favourite players and go out with them before a match. Some charge a fee for this, others offer it free, either for less privileged children or to the public.

It's sort of a nice gesture to the public, to give them something back.

They're the mascots. It is just something that most teams do now-a-days.

to let these kids have a day with their favorite player.mostly i think those kids are orphanage children but am not sure about that.
