probably because they get bored cos they can't go out and do things.or maybe its because the sun isn't out

I don't get that either. I love rain - it's so peaceful and calming. The sound of the rain is amazing, and can lull me to sleep in a matter of seconds.
And the air never smells better than right after it has rained. Everything smells fresh and clean.
Is there anything better than sitting inside on a rainy Sunday, with a bowl of popcorn, a cup of steaming hot tea, and a good movie?
Also, walking in the rain - lovely. The feeling of the rain, the smell, the sounds - and the fact that you've got it all to yourself because everyone else is hiding inside as if it was acid falling from the sky, and not just water.

I don't get that. I LOVE the rain. it's so peaceful and soothing. I believe the people that don't like it are very active people or people that have been in a car accident in the rain.

I love it when it rains...I can sit and watch it for hours...makes me feel all cozy.
Not to mention the bible passages that state that as long as the rains come, God hasn't given up on the world yet. (That's just my personal belief, don't get all hyper people...) LOL

you can stimulate your damn brain even with the rain, just because the weather has changed doesn't mean your mind has to, shoot find something to do, personally i LOOOOVE THE RAIN IT MAKES ME HAPPY JUST LIKE THE SUN MAKE YOU FOLKS HAPPY, WITH A EXCEPTION OF SOME FOLKS.
plus rain makes me feel calmed and it comforts me.

because of dark. It gets dark when it rains. People need light to stimulate their brain areas repsonsible for the good mood.
