A very touching film about friendship.

It's the first film I go to when I want a good cry. The chemistry between the actresses, even as children was great. I think it shows that no matter where your path takes you in life, your friend will always be there when you need them, and really, what more could you ask for?

I love that film! And it is the only film that makes me cry every time I watch it! The friendship between the 2 main characters as they grow up is so sweet, everyone should have a friendship like theirs.

Cry my eyes out everytime I see it. The sound track song, You are the wind beneath my wings gets me going as well. Box of tissues at the ready. Love the film.

It's a chick flick and I loved it. There's nothing like friends. Great performances by everyone involved. It really went for the heart strings.

One of my favourites. Cried and cried. If you can remember the sitcom Blossom the same actress plays Bette Midler as a child. It is sentimental stuff but sometimes thats just what you need.

It's not on my favorite list, but hell if it doesn't make me weep like a child. I love Bette Midler, so she's incredible. It's an okay movie. If you're in the mood for a good, old fashion cry, watch it. It's also a great friendship movie. Watch it with a girl friend.

I think it's a very good girly film but also extremely sad - it always make me cry! My mate watched it for the first time and she howled through it!! (Literally lol :-S)
