Adrenaline diverts blood from non-essential systems to your muscles and brain when you are nervous. This is possible as your nervous system has control over the circular muscles that ring all of your blood vessels, so some can be tightened and others relaxed to make the blood circulate where the body needs it.
Part of fight or flight. The function of the guts are non essential (they can wait) in survival situations. Butterfly's is the sensation your stomach gives you when suddenly deprived of it's usual blood supply.

adrenaline is a hormone released when u nervous ..

it does many things .. one of them is stimulates 'peristalysis', this is the movement of the gut. peristalysis will try to digest food as fast as possible so nutrients can be absorbed quicker and can be released to prepare u for the situation u r nervous for.

the 'peristalysis' of the gut = butterfly effect

Overstimulation of the adrenal glands, which prepares you for the "fight or flight" reponse and blood rushing to areas where it's most needed in difficult situations ie head and heart, not the stomach, which accounts for the fluttery feeling.
One of the actions of adrenalin is to constrict the capillaries leading everywhere except the lungs, heart and brain, in order to enable better responses.

Same reason lots of people throw up when nervous. It's the 'fight or flight' reflex kicking in, but leaning heavily towards flight. You can run faster on an empty stomach.

we release a hormone that messes with our usual body balance. it gives us an upset stomach, can act as a laxative or just give us a headache. some people feel a serge of adrenaline and love that feeling. but its mainly due to an extra release of hormones.
