regardless of polls, 70% of American just don't like were we are headed. maybe some media influance, but way more hard facts that can't be denied.. Tony knows, he was hired to make love to the media and smooth things over, to some degree he was a good pick. trader

Good Lord remember how Tony Snow railed on George Bush when he worked for Fox. The low poll ratings are because people are getting sick and tired of excuses. Truth be know Tony Snow feels the same or at least he once did.

Polls aren't news. Polls are manufactured news. Before a poll, there is no news story. So, some reporter, calls 900 people, asks them whateve questions he or she wants, and presto! instant news story.

Keep in mind the reporter can ask any type of question he or she wants. For example:

1.Why is Bush doing such a bad job?
2. Why is Bush losing support?
3. Why does Bush continue to perpetuate the Iraq disaster?

The above questions are examples of leading, biased questions that liberal reporters ask in order to get their "instant poll story".

Poll stories are useless. Tony Snow is correct.

No, in a sense he is accurate.

After all, if the media didn't report what he does, we wouldn't know, and couldn't object.

Of course.
The News Media has an agenda: they want us to lose in Iraq.
It's their way of helping the Democrat Party who also wants us to lose.
It's all about MONEY & POWER.
