This is very difficult. If you can think of something she has said she would like in the past, That is really the best suggestion I can offer.

Depression is a hard thing to deal with..
But if your wanting to do something a lil special, and don't mind putting some work into it.
Find a couple friends she likes to shop with, do some talking, and plan a scavenger hunt!
Let her friends start out the morning by taking her to breakfast, and giving her the first clue.
(in advance go to next location and drop off clue)
Send her to have a manicure, or pedicure.... possibly pick up some wine or champagne at the local liquer store, drop by a adult book store to pick up something fun, then by the time she makes it to her final destination. Be it a room, or hotel. Surprise her by having balloons, and roses, and rose petal's across the bed.
When she arrive's, give her some pampering time by giving her a "red neck spa" ...lol Candles around the tub, the champagne or wine that she brought. Help her slip in the tub, and give her all your attention while you massage, and sweet talk.
Sometimes a lil attention from that special person in your life... helps focus on new things!
Hope it's not to much work...and more of a fun challenge. YOU hae enough time to plan it all out!
Good Luck!!

Why not get some really pretty paper, cut it into strips, write on each strip a reason why you love your girlfriend or what makes her special, just all the nice things you love about her, put them all in a nice box tied up with a pretty ribbon and every time she feels low she can open the box and read all the lovely things you say about her to help her to cheer up, good luck.

Well done mate for thinking ahead. You know her more than we do so you must have a fairly good idea what she would like. Enjoy Valentines together. Doesn't matter what ye do. Few tips. Book a night away in a hotel or country cottage for both of ye. Treat her with her favourite thing even it's just her favourite bar of chocolate!! Go for a nice long walk together and chat. Let her chat about anything! Do whatever you feel is right. You'll know and good luck !!

How about a spa day? Nothing relaxes me more than a day in the spa and you can go with her. A great bonding time for you both as you move around in cosy dressing gowns having saunas, massages etc together. It will also help relax your girlfriend which is important with depression

If you can afford it, buy the two of you a weekend away in a lovely hotel with a great spa in a lovely location. Pricey but she would enjoy it.
Although it depends on why she's depressed, she may get a guilt trip from this too ...
She's a lucky girl, though. Not many chaps like you around!

hey james i think you should make her a scrap book filled with photos and things to reminder her of all the good things in her life, maybe she could use it on the days she feels really down to lift her sprits a bit- oh and maybe you could leave blank pages at the back and tell her you will do something to fill a page every month! i think she will really appreciate the time effort and support offered by a gift like this i don't think something like chocolates or jewelery will do the trick x good luck and i hope she feels better soon x

I was in a similar situation a few years ago at Christmas. My dad got me the Tiffany's Sterling silver heart braclet with my initals engraved on it. I thought it was the best gift I was ever given. So it's like you have her your heart, and she can wear it always.
I think it is a little more than $150, but I think it is worth it.
